An energy efficient DC motor gives power to gracefully contoured blades to create a powerful airflow. An optional integrated LED array light can be purchased to add functional lighting. The slim remote transmitter operates the Evolution's 6 speeds, dimming of the optional light, as well as additional security and comfort features.
